    Reno Style Magazine

Reno Style magazine is about local businesses, girl stuff and the irreverent charm that makes this town unique.

Style conscious Renoites are about to get lifted, as fashion maven Jessica Schneider’s new publication, Reno Style, debuts this month. “Reno is on the cusp,” says the ambitious interior design professional, who’s now folded her formidable creative energies into running Junkee Recycled Clothing, hosting her hugely popular cable television show, and editing her bold magazine launch.  “I loved doing interior design work. The magazine has really filled a creative void for me in that respect,” Schneider states.

The project is very much a family affair, as Schneider’s husband Troy assumes sales, operations and marketing duties for the monthly.  “The most exciting thing about Reno Style is that it’ll be a high quality, free magazine that’s edgy,” he explains.  The Schneiders have assembled a crack team of collaborators, including phenomenal fine art photographer Franz Szony.  The couple tapped Szony for the first 12 covers of the magazine.  “We’ll have style sections and editorials that’ll be fun, with a lot of personality,” says Assistant Editor Krystal Bick.  “We’re looking for the over the top stuff that will stop Reno in its tracks,” Bick chimes.

Among other subjects, look for regular columns and features on local entrepreneurs, the history of alcohol and SF writer Cynthia Darling’s advice on love and sex.  Reno Style can be found all over Reno and Sparks, so go pick up a copy at your favorite stores today.   - www.renostylemagazine.com
